I realized clean eating doesn’t have to be hard.

Have you been meaning to eat better?

Is a busy schedule holding you back?

Clean eating sounds great in theory but it seems like a lot of work.

If you imagine yourself slaving over a cutting board,

frantically slicing fresh pieces of produce every day,

abusing the blender with the constant chopping of raw veggies,

making a mess with the hopes that you can eat well or drink your way healthy. . .

it doesn’t have to be that way.

A personal chef may not be in the budget, but there’s an affordable solution that will help you eat better and free up your time.

Why You Should  Meal Plan Better for Your New Year’s Resolution (or Any Time of Year)

I know, as a parent with two children, squeezing in quick and healthy meals can be hard. Planning meals around sports schedules and performances is a challenge. Game times switch from week to week and we quickly have to switch gears when it comes to our meals. It’s hard to get everyone to sit down together as a family.

As educators, my husband and I know the importance of eating together as a family. It helps improve your children’s vocabulary, allows you to have time together, and can even improve how well your child does in school.

A University of Illinois study shows that children who did well in school and on achievement tests were those who spent large amounts of time eating meals with their families. Making time for family meals is a priority for us. You can make your own meal plan template or check out places that will do it for you.

Emeals.com has meal plans with slow cooker recipes for clean eating. People with busy schedules should be able to eat healthy too. Right? there have family-friendly recipes that are easy to prepare. The recipes are ideal for busy people who still want to eat well.

It includes the meal plan number that corresponds to the recipe you will have on that day. For example, Wild Rice and Beef Stuffed Bell Peppers is the first recipe. It is labeled Meal 1 on the meal plan.

The grocery list has a heading to the left that reads “Meal #”. The grocery item needed is next to it along with the price. It is marked on the grocery list so you know which recipes you are shopping for at the grocery store. At times one ingredient will be needed for several meals, so more than one number will appear in the Meal # heading.
