According to Quantas.com, Along with concerts, the Sphere will hold awards shows, immersive films, DJ sets, boxing matches, and more.
Why is it called the MSG Sphere?
ArchitecturalDigest.com explains that when the Madison Square Garden Company announced the venue in 2018, it was initially referred to as MSG Sphere. Sphere Entertainment Company, however, took over the new venue in April 2023 after Madison Square Garden Entertainment split into two separate companies.
Can you go inside the Sphere?
Yes, you can go inside the Sphere, but a ticket is required.
How much does it cost to go to the Sphere in Vegas?
It costs 99 dollars to get the most inexpensive ticket to see a film. Tickets for concerts can vary widely based on where you sit and when you purchase them.
Where are the best seats in the Sphere?
The best viewing spots in Sphere are in the sections ending with five, six, and seven (205, 206, 207, 305, 306, 307, 405, 406 and 407). I think there isn’t a bad seat in the house if you’re just there to enjoy the band. Think about the sweet spot between being close to the band while still trying to see all the LED screen tech has to offer.
Is there a bad seat in the Sphere Las Vegas?
I personally don’t feel that there is a bad seat at the Sphere in Las Vegas. It all depends on how close you want to be and whether or not you like to sit in the center or close to it. However, there are sections with an obstructed view of the Sphere. You can still see the band and screen, but not up above.
Is the Sphere experience worth it?
The Sphere experience is worth it to me. However, there are people that feel as though it’s similar to an IMAX film, but priced higher. I personally like to see something unique so paying $99 a seat was fine for me.

It kind of reminded me of Soarin’ from one of the Disney Parks except you’re sitting and not lifted up with your feet dangling.
My Experience at The Sphere in Las Vegas
Though watching the U2 concert was the main focus of this trip at The Sphere in Las Vegas, we went to see a film to take in a different type of Sphere experience. It’s similar to an IMAX, but its shaped like a sphere.
It’s a multisensory experience. I’ve been on rides and other things at amusement parks that provide a similar experience like Soarin’ at Disney. But for me, this was unique. It was one of those things where I just wanted to say, I did that.
This theater seats 18,000 and features the world’s largest LED screen. This 160,000 square footer wraps around the audience and makes viewing a concert or movie here surreal.
Sphere, Las Vegas Photos Inside The Atrium
Though U2 performances and the film “Postcard from Earth” have taken center stage, but don’t forget about the building’s atrium ares that showcases a variety of displays, which have caught the attention of tourists and locals alike.
The whole Sphere Experience begins as soon as you step foot inside. Chat with human-like robots. Check out the holographic art installations. Also, get your image scanned in front of the avatar capture. It will create a short video and send it to you via email to download and share.
Inside the Sphere, Las Vegas Photos of The U2 Concert
It would be fair to say that the U2 performance was even better than the real thing. 😉 Truly, I find it hard to put into words how special this was to me. This futuristic, immersive concert was an 11 out of ten for me.
I find some concerts frustrating to attend because the music is usually too loud or the instruments can sometimes overpower the singer. This was not the case here. Everything sounded great whether Bono was singing softly or belting out a tune.
Moving on to the visual aspects, whether you catch Bono and the other band members on the LED screen or moving around the turn table-like stage, it’s possible to see everything, everywhere all at once since the giant dome engulfs the performance.

There are a variety of fun bucket list things to do and see, including spectacular shows, celebrity chef restaurants, wonderful residencies, interesting museums, amazing artwork, and of course, gambling.
