Why not try a different type of festive beverage? Whether it’s your favorite coffee shop or a special restaurant, now can be the time to try that seasonal beverage.

I love anything with peppermint. I will readily sign up for that. So that could be something simple to enjoy and take advantage of this time of year.

3. Make some festive cookies

Get some cookie cutters and you make cookies that are shaped like snowflakes. You even can make sugar cookies or another type just for winter.

4. Cook homemade chili

Chili is the perfect comfort food. It makes your house smell amazing. It warms you up on a cold day, and it tastes so good. It’ll make the best of times feel even better.

5. Try making homemade soup

There are many benefits to making your own soup at home, not just the taste. You can control what ingredients go into it and avoid preservatives or additives that may be present in store-bought varieties.

6. Watch a movie marathon

It’s hard to find a sport that is as fun and satisfying. Skiers can experience nature in its purest form, with nothing but fresh air around them for miles on end!

Cross country skiing is a cross between hiking and running, which makes it an excellent way to explore new terrain. You can go as far or fast on your journey depending how adventurous you want things get!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved the sensation of sliding down a hill on my stomach. The wind billowing through my hair and feeling that ice-cold water splash against me as we hit speeds over 40 mph make for one heckuva fun time!

There are so many reasons to try snowboarding. For one thing, it’s a great way for people who enjoy going fast or taking big jumps in their free time during winter break. You’ll also get some exercise on top of feeling like an adrenaline junkie too.
