I’ve heard of lumping errands together to save money on gas. Why not use the same idea with your oven? Sometimes I base what I cook around what needs to go in the oven. I group those items together and make them at the same time, so I can use my gas more efficiently. I put my frozen pizza, muffin mix and cake mix all in the oven around the same time. I staggered them a bit because the muffin mix and pizza were both at 400 degrees and the cake was at a lower temperature. So once they came out. I put the cake in. My family will pizza for dinner, muffins for breakfast or a snack and cake for dessert. . . celebrating our savings.
Jiffy muffin mix only costs about a dollar.
